What is Chubb Edwards?
Chubb Edwards is what you get when two exceptional fire and security companies join forces. Chubb was established in 1818, while Edwards was formally established in 1872. The Chubb Edwards organization is an integral part of UTC Fire and Security and is currently traded on the NYSE under the name UTX. Not many home security companies can boast such an extensive history.
Chubb Edwards takes pride in its unique monitoring systems. The alarm systems are designed to have alarm signals that are received by a dedicated signal channel. Every signal is designed to indicate the type of emergency that is happening. This way the call centre employees are able to notify the proper authorities. For example, if an intrusion is occurring, the police department will be immediately notified by the service technicians.
In Canada, Chubb Edwards presently runs a network of about 30 sales and services offices. The offices are used to deliver superior customer service and 24 hour monitoring every day of the week.
The overall goal of Chubb Edwards is to offer an integration of protection services. The integration revolves around fire, security and general life safety security. The products offered include:
A “special offer” at Chubb Edwards can be considered the exceptional service portfolio that is offered. Between continual feedback and field service excellence, the company strives to engage clients to see if their needs are being catered to. Through obtaining constant feedback from customers the company is trying to become the best alarm system in Canada. Whether the company meets this goal or not will be determined in the future.
I have personally had to deal with Chubb security since they were taking care of the security where I used to work. They seem pretty effective to call and reach employees in order to advice them of any alarms. Their monitoring services seem to be quite efficient as well as we were always advised rapidly of any unwanted individuals around the company.
We also explored a site that examined the amount of complaints filed against this company. In British Columbia, four complaints had been filed. Three complaints regarding billing and one regarding service. The website indicates that all four complaints were resolved by Chubb Edwards. This indicates to us that the company takes customers seriously and is doing whatever it can to keep customers on board.
